Snowflake Tree Skirt

Hand Made Tree Skirt

Supplies:

Linen, White embroidery floss, backing fabric, lace, ribbon

This tree skirt is very simple to make.  You could skip the embroidered snowflakes and choose two holiday fabrics instead.  Cut a circle out of the two fabrics.  Then lay them on top of one another and cut a slit to just past the center of the circle.  Lay them face to face and use pins to sandwich the lace.  Sew the edges together then turn inside out.  Sew the edges of the slit (this part is at the back of the tree, so I didn’t worry too much about making it look perfect).  Don’t forget to sew the ribbons into the edges of the slit.
