As I have mentioned before, just after Ruby was born my husband and I decided that she needed a place in nature to call her own.  Last year, we built a small vacation cabin on 7 acres in Woodstock, NY.  Since the day we moved in, I have been working my fingers to the bone making things to furnish our new home.  As soon as I found out we were going to build the house, I knew exactly how I wanted to decorate Ruby’s room.  Holly Hobbie.  Duh.

The embroideries and fabric wall images were all purchased from Etsy and Ebay and re-framed.  The curtains were handmade by me.  The changing table was made by my husband out of reclaimed wood from a pallet for an outdoor hot tub.  The highchair is a family heirloom.  The quilt was a handmade gift and the quilt hanger was a purchase from Etsy.  The bookshelf came from an unfinished furniture store and I painted it blue.  The rocking chair came from a garage sale and the cushions came from Ikea.  The rocking chair pillow was handmade by me.
