Teething Biscuits

Over the last few months, I’ve been working on a recipe for biscuits for my sweet Baby Bear.  She loves to have a little snack when she wakes up from her afternoon nap.   I think I may have finally perfected these biscuits.  I hope your little one enjoys these as much as Baby Bear does!


  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp formula
  • 1 cup oat flour (I processed raw oats in a coffee grinder)
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • dash of cinnamon

Combine wet ingredients.  Combine dry ingredients.  Add together and stir until dough is stiff.  Roll into a ball, cover with saran wrap and put in refrigerator for 1 hour or more.  Roll out to about 1/4 inch thickness with rolling pin (I like to use parchment paper to keep the mess to a minimum).  Use any cookie stamp or cut into shapes.  Lay out on un-greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.  I put about a 1/3 in a tupperware for the next week or so and the rest into the refrigerator to preserve for later.
